FT Infrared / FTNIR » ReflectIR » Technology

The ReflectIR was engineered to provide diffuse reflectance analysis optimized for the best SNR and repeatability performance on the most difficult samples. High power illumination from up to three lamps and a high sensitivity InGaAs detector provide maximum SNR performance. Large area illumination plus the ability to continuously move the sample provides averaging of the specular components for the most consistent analysis.

The process ReflectIR sampling accessory takes these design advantages on-line. Calibrations developed in the lab can be transferred on-line and up to 16 ReflectIR modules can be fiber optically coupled to a single PCM-1000 FT NIR Analyzer for reliable on-line analysis of conveyed or web products.
