Hamilton Sundstrand AIT completed the purchase of the Foxboro Company's Process Gas Chromatography (PGC) product line in April 2000. Under Strategic Alliance agreements, AIT assumed all responsibility of the Process Gas Chromatography line including the support of existing installed Foxboro PGC's. It also allows Invensys/Foxboro to continue offering the PGC products in Control Systems projects worldwide.

The AIT/Foxboro 931 Series PGCs continuously measure and report the concentrations of components in process streams of gases and liquids. The analyzers provide the data for process control, quality, environmental monitoring, and alarming indications including complete maintenance and self-diagnostics information. With an installed base of over 2000 units, the Foxboro 931 Series has earned a solid reputation of being a highly rugged and reliable analyzer.
